One thing that I am convinced of is this: What you already have within you is what you need to create your ideal reality. (Listen to the WAKEUP Call episode below for more on this.)
These three simple success principles, when properly practiced, will open up a new world of possibilities.
Humans are creatures of habit. Asserting these principles habitually is the key determining factor that separates the top 3% of successful people from everyone else. I can trace my own success to these strategies, which I embodied as a result of my own non-academic research–from the teachings of dozens of other successful entrepreneurs. It doesn’t take an expensive education or high IQ to follow through on them.
If you follow these three principles daily, it is impossible for your productivity, and your life, not to improve.
1. Know The Outcome
Successful people know which direction to face. Their outcome is so crystal-clear that it shines, but isn’t out-of-reach–like a nurturing companion. This will be their creative masterpiece.
Providing your navigation device with a destination is both primary and necessary. Know what you want and make it as specific as possible. Now, we know this isn’t easy, but it’s critical.
Once you have that figured out, the next step is devising a plan. With the fanning of your spark of an idea, you will ignite a systematic inferno. Your inner entrepreneur will burn so brightly, you will simply refuse to let anything detour you from fiery pursuit.
2. Create A Strategic Game Plan
You are only as good as your plans. Successful outcomes are a result of solid strategies. Sporting events, business goals, and battles cannot be won without a plan. The victory is dictated by systems and plans, yet, when we think about our lives, how many of us actually have a plan for success?
If you don’t have a plan, you are just playing bumper cars with everyone else.
Most people don’t have a plan because they don’t know what the heck they want out of life. (See Principal 1). Since you’ve figured out your goal, you can now form a plan to accomplish your specific outcome.
Detailed goals drive specific actions that lead directly to success.
Which brings us to taking action…
3. Take Consistent Action
Just one species of animals, humans tend to only work as hard as we need to survive–no extra. Thus, the secret is to have inner-power driving you, power that you’ve fueled yourself, that forces you to take more action.
We need a goal that’s such a burning desire for us that we HAVE to get it done and then do even more. This desire will keep you up at night. It will upset your body in exciting ways–a flutter in your heart, a roiling in your belly. It will be your motivating force, a target always in sight.
It’s a desire you’re excited to work on Every. Single. Day.
Create a clear vision of an ideal outcome you desire, have a plan to guide you, then work your arse off. Rinse and repeat.
Imagine the compounding effect of doing this daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. It will be huge. Give yourself permission to go at your own pace, and suddenly an entirely new world of possibility will appear. This is a promise and a threat.
All my best,
Jay Kubassek
