In this spirit of Christmas and out of the deepest appreciation for all of my friends and family this holiday season, I felt led to share this with you today.
I received a series of emails over the last few weeks from a woman in Jamaica that I quite frankly blew off. Then last week Lena emailed me on behalf of this woman as well, and not unlike most of the zillion email I get every day from people asking for all kinds of things, I blew that off too.
Anyways, it was 5:30 this morning, I was up most of the night with Miki and could not sleep. I decided to clean out my inbox and I came across yet another email from this lady. This one really stuck with me. I am not sure if it was the sincerity of the request, or just the pure guts of a mom to ask me pay for a semester of some kids college, not sure. Regardless, the quote above started ringing in my ears.
My heart and my gut are telling me that the right this to do here is to see if there is anyone else who feels the same way, and if to led, also contribute. It is Christmas and I can’t think of anything that would be more in the spirit of giving than to pass the hat and make sure Jessica is enrolled in classes come the first week of Jan.
My goal is to wire all $18,384.26 to Wheaton TODAY.
Thus, I am calling on you, my friends and business associates because I know you can help me make it happen. Regardless, I am personally prepared to to whatever it takes to make this happen on my own…
It was nice seeing you in Vegas, even if it was for a very brief moment as we took the one of many photos.
I am the one who told you I am from Jamaica. I have been with PRO over a year now and admire the way you have built this incredible community of entrepreneurs! I love being a part of it!!
The Jamaican dollar is in a bad way… JAD$89 to USD$1 so when I came in it was on a shoe string, but Lena Bjorna, my mentor will tell you I am determined to get to the top!
I have a 19 yr old daughter, Jessica who by the grace of God and that alone attended Milton Academy boarding school in Boston for 2 yrs on a FULL scholarship and now is in her second year at Wheaton College in Illinois. Her first semester was sponsored by a Christian couple (God bless them) and then they lost their money (all of it) in an investment scheme gone sour!
To my amazement the college showed her compassion and gave her the second semester (all expenses paid!). At the beginning of this year I still wasn’t able to pay and they did it again!!! Now I am faced with a new semester on the horizon… USD$18,000 due on the 15th Dec!! (They say because of the economic fall out they are unable to do it this time)
This may seem strange…that I would come to you with this…I asked Lena if PRO had any organization that helped kids to fund college…she said she didn’t know, I should go to JayKubassek.com I did and then I came here. I really believe in what I am doing Jay, as you did.
Until then…I just wondered if you had ANY organization that could help me to get my brilliant child back into college.
PS: She doesn’t qualify for US financial aid as she is Jamaican. The banks here won’t lend me the $ as I don’t have a “steady” income YET! I also have a 12 yr old daughter and a 6 yr old son.
Please advise me if there is ANY thing that can be done.
I know how busy you are and how blessed I am if you found the time just to read this.
God bless you Jay…and thank you for giving my life focus and purpose. I am grateful to God that He showed me this company!!

This is something that I value the most with CCPro. This willingness and encouragement to bless others without expecting anything in return. God wants us to have abundance for every good work.
Right on for being a stand for doing anything possible to create another leader in our world!
Jay and Jamie,
Thank you for this opportunity to offer a blessing to one who is deserving and in need.
Merry Christmas to all,
Jessica, I am blessed to have the opportunity to contribute as you took your future in charge. I whish you all the best in your life and the one of all your family
Life is about giving, sharing, contributing. I never found any community like this one in CCPRO. I am glad I found it 4 months ago.
Another case of persistence paying off!
Have a wonderful Christmas!
Wow, and Wow is all I can say! Melanie I see your success coming down the line because you are prepared to step up and do whatever it takes to achieve your goals , not only for you but your children. I am also so grateful to be apart of a community that would find a place in their hearts to support the cause.
One of my favorite quotes: The true meaning of life is to plant trees, under whose shade you do not expect to sit. ~Nelson Henderson
I am in awe of what is unfolding before our eyes! This is TRULY a FAMILY!!
God bless each and every one of you who has contributed and THANK YOU JAY for your huge heart to give!!!
Jessica is having a Christmas she will NEVER forget thanks to you Jay, your amazing family and my CCPRO family.
We love you guys and will never forget what you have done!!
God bless you ALL!!
This is incredible…I am so proud of our Community right now!
I have to say I am just blown away by everyone’s generosity.
And as someone who personally knows Melanie I can tell you that there is no one more deserving of this than her.
She is always there to help and support others, shining her little light… A very special, loving, selfless and gifted person whom I am proud to have on my team.
Mel, you approached God in faith with your request for Jessica, trusting and believing that He would make it happen.
And now He has rewarded you for your unwavering faith.
Love ya Mel…
Wishing you and your family a blessed Christmas!
WOW! This is amazing I can’t believe that you just raised all the money for me in just one day! I am truly blessed and I feel honoured that you all took out of your own pockets at this crazy time of the year to give to someone you don’t even know. Thank you all so much, I am grateful down to the last dollar given. I pray that each one of your donations to me will return to you one hundred fold, and that you will receive your own blessings when you ever happen to be in a need of any kind. Thank you all so very much, and have an amazing holiday season!
Im here to help.
It doesnt have to be big to help.
Small amount can change someones life forever.
Have a lovely holiday everyone.

This is the very first time I’am here and what better timing I must say !! :).
Jay & Jamie, Melanie and all you Wonderful people, hats off to you!
Best wishes to Jessica and her family!
Wish you all a Fantastic Christmas!
God Bless you all!
I believe we are just scratching the surface of the global impact those in the CCP community will increasingly have.
We are stronger than the sum of the parts.
Merry Christmas Jessica! May God bless you this Christmas and into the new year.
As a new member of CCP (less than a week), I am blown away by this community. I have seen, heard, or experienced something amazing on almost an hourly basis these last few days – and here is another example. I see so many names on this donor list that I have come to know over the past several years and now I know where you all have been hanging out. Thank you Jay for this opportunity to help Melanie and Jessica!
All I can say is WOW!
I was super inspired to read this post!
This is really what I believe life is all about:
Being in Service.
And instilling faith & hope in the people that only have faith & hope left.
When our paths crossed I could sense that you really cared for the well being of others, and this act of service confirms it.
Happy Holidays & Congratz on the birth of your daughter my friend.
PS: I am not sure if my donation went through, if you did not receive anything from “Surfveza Enterprise”, let me know & I will re-send it (I’m not too familiar with Paypals system).
Merry Christmas Philliberts. Just another example of the power of this community and the class of my best friend Jay Kubassek. Thank you everyone.
very teaching words from everybody! it just about watered my eyes!
words from the hearts of sincere people stating nothing but the truth!
Hope to be as successful all you
Jay — This story, more than anything else I’ve heard or read re: CCPro has convinced me you have formed a community with which I now dearly want to be associated. (And as soon as we have $395, I will jump in. Times are really hard. Let’s see CCPro or…dinner? Still believe the Lord will provide the resources needed, as I prayed for direction and sat down and found Jessica’s story. WOW!)
Hey, just wonderin’ if anybody has an update on Jessica in 2011? She doesn’t seem to be on Facebook (How dare she?!)
;-> God bless you, Jay and all my soon to be friends at Loyal 9 Revolution.
Arlington, TX (yes, home of JerryWorld and SuperBowl XLV, THIS week! How ’bout dem Cowboys?!) ;-<
Hi everyone, I see that a year ago someone asked for an update. Well, here it is. My last name is no longer Phillibert, as I am now happily married, almost two years. After the semester that you all provided for me so graciously, I had to take a semester off while my residency papers were being filed (the school forgot to tell me about that part until I showed up for classes after getting married, but it all worked out! I qualified for scholarships after my papers went through, which miraculously only took one semester, instead of the average 18 months). I then did 4 semesters straight through, including online classes during the summer, in order to graduate on time this past May, 2012. I graduated cum laude, with a Bachelor of Arts in Business/Economics and a minor in Spanish.
I have now moved to the East Coast with my husband, where he will be tackling a Ph.D. program in the sciences. The reason I looked back at this page today is that I had an interview with a prestigious company earlier today, and they mentioned that they saw this page while googling my name. They were amazed at what you all did for me, and told me that what they read reassured them about hiring me.
I just want to thank you all again so much for helping me, and to let you know that your gift did not end on December 23, 2010. You have helped me gain an education that will last my entire lifetime. I have never met a single one of you, yet you mean so so much to me. Thank you a million times over, and God bless.
