Your Economy is the Only Economy That Matters
This is not “just another year”. No, it’s a new year, and we’re living in a new world where we have a historical opportunity to change everything we want to about our lives.
The Industrial Revolution of the 18th and 19th centuries created tremendous opportunities for wealth. Despite the Great Depression that followed in the 1930s where many people the world over lost their fortunes, there were some who, because of their positioning, avoided that fate and benefited enormously- becoming millionaires.
How is it, whether the world’s economies are good or bad, a successful few always find ways to prosper?
The answer to that is that the only economy that matters is your own economy.
The mass media’s message about the economy is framed as: “It’s not your fault that you’re not succeeding; it’s because it is a tough economy.”
Bull_!
What I’m here to wake you up to is the fact that the only economy that controls how successful you can be is your own economy.
The 20th century author Napolean Hill, who wrote the famous book “Think and Grow Rich”, interviewed 400 of these millionaires in an effort to reverse-engineer their success secrets. He found that the most common principle between all of them was this: “What the mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
As cliche as it sounds, maybe there’s a reason every successful person I know and all of my mentors live by this principle.
Successful people have certain things in common. They question everything. They’re willing to change their mind and be wrong. They’re not attached to their past ways or methods of producing success. They are always seeking to improve and are willing to adapt quickly in an ever changing competitive marketplace.
Of all the Revolutions the world has seen, we are in the middle of an even bigger revolution- call it the Digital Revolution or the Information Age- where computers are a dominant force in society. Unlike ever before, everyone with a computer has been afforded the powerful opportunity to create tremendous wealth.
Are YOU ready for the digital economy? Or, are you stuck in the old, dying, traditional economy based on the industrial revolution?
Last year is over. Don’t let this year come and go! Challenge and let go of past patterns and beliefs that no longer serve your highest and best. Realize that which you are capable and drop the thinking that yesterday defines today’s reality, and you’ll find yourself positioned on the cutting edge of this new revolution.
Seize the opportunity the Digital Revolution has brought to you today. It’s ready to explode the only economy that matters- the economy of you!
All my best,
Jay Kubassek
